"Dream It, Desire It and let's Inspire each other," we shout out as we see the foot of the hill approach. The three of us fist pump to the chant "DDI" as we push forward together on an arduous uphill segment 12 miles in. DDI was born in that very moment..

As three good friends who enjoy running together, we decided to turn this mantra into this simple philosophy behind our brand. Like most people we know, our lives are pretty full-on and running is always a good way to relax and catch up, among all the other benefits. During our chats, we'd often discuss the cost of the high-end running equipment that one of us was considering spending far too much money on. So this Nurse, Teacher and Project Manager starting thinking about alternative ways they could look and feel good whilst running, but avoid the extortionate big brand costs. Fast forward to consultations with a number of designers and manufacturers, our 'runners high' idea started turning into a reality.

"Let's do it. It can't be any harder than running a marathon, can it?" All three of us have crawled over a marathon finish line at some point in our running stories, and now we're ready for new adventure.
